I saw a question about this a few days ago, if WP Discuz is going to add a checkbox before someone leave a blog comment, and it sounded like you are not planning on adding that?
If so, this means we have to find a different, GDPR-compliant plugin to manage blog comments. That would be a bummer.
Can you confirm if WP Discuz will be adding that capability before GDPR requirements start?

This is still under consideration. There are a lot of plugins, that are compatible with wpDiscuz. See support topic here:

In a few days with wpDiscuz 5.1.0 version you can create a checkbox for GDPR using this documentation: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-documentation/gdpr/right-to-be-informed/
