Hello,

On version 1.x there was the "Emoticon Packages" feature.
On version 7.x, I don't find this function anymore.

- I don't want to use "Stickers".
- Visitors are used to click on a "smiley" to add one in a comment, the "Stickers" icon won't make sense to them.
- I use custom codes to display my smileys (for example "" ). And this for years.
If my codes are replaced, then all the smileys published so far won't be displayed in the old comments, we will only see the codes.

Thanks by advance for your help.

Hi @laurent,

Nothing is changed but the name. So the old Emoticon Packages is the same Stickes. Just configure your Emoticons package like you've configured it in previous version. The emoticons' customization still available in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Emoticons Tab:

wpDiscuz Emoticons Dashboard settings customize stickers add remove new packages
wpDiscuz Emoticons add edit remove customizable stickers
wpDiscuz Emoticons addon adds emoji sets

Hello @tomson

Ok, I understand that "Stickers" now replaces "Emoticons."

Please, how do I change the "green stickers" by the "orange emoticon" in the toolbar? So that my visitors immediately understand that this is the tool to add a smiley face?

Thank you by advance.

@laurent,

I'm really sorry but there is no way to do that. This is the addon core feature and cannot be changed.

Ok, that doesn't really make sense, it looks more like a document hint than a smiley insertion.
I think I'm going to go for another extension.
