User mentioning works great… until 9 or 10 different mentions are used on a single topic. At which point, when you type a message something akin to @user9, it will look fine in the reply creation window, but when you post it, it is replaced with @user1(0) … with user1 being a different user earlier in the thread. If you go back to edit the reply, the original mention is in the edit screen, but still remains wrong in the post.
I’m having a hard time pinpointing what causes it, or even why the user that ends up being mentioned instead of the one typed is chosen out of all the users on the page. It appears only to occur when there are more than nine different users in the topic. Any suggestions or guidance?
