I'm having the same problem as the one described in this post:

I have 2 Usergroups that can be marked as Secondary (1 Registered and 9 USA - Denver, CO):
But only one of them appears on the Account page for a user:
I am using the User Custom Fields addon. Does it have something to do with the value that is listed in this field?

Please add the second Secondary usergroup in User Custom Fields add-on's Edit fields section. As shown below
3 => 1 Registred
4 => X your secondary usergroup
I tried all of these, but none of them worked. I also tried using a 7 instead of a 4 because 7 is the groupid in the database:
That was exactly the problem. I feel like an idiot 🙂
