I hust noticed that my "wpForo - User Custom Fields" plugin can not be updated via my wordpress back end. (there is no "update" button. But I have already updated my licence last month. My subscription is valid untill July 17,2023. My "User Custom Fields" plugin version seems to be 2.0.7. and my WpForo version is 2.0.7 as well, but there is no update button there. It is seen "inactive" at the moment. If I click  "activate", I see a pop up message as seen in the attachment. I see that there is a new 3.0 version of "wpForo - User Custom Fields" plugin in my account (3.0.0) which I can download from my account page here. Will I have to download it and re-install it by deleting the old version? If I do that, will my previous settings be lost? Why can't I just update it directly from my wordpress back end? If I delete tha plugin and re-install the v.3.0.0, then my previous settings will be gone? I'm confused. Please guide me how can I make it work again as soon as possible. I renewed my licence last month just to make sure my site services don't interrupt, but today I noticed that this plugin was not active because it wasn't updated even though I renewed my licence on time. There is no "update" button in my wordpress back end "plugins" section for this plugin... I don't want to use the old settings and do everything from the scratch. Please guide me what to do. Thanks.

Hi @orhan-burak-uckun,

No worries, just delete the addon and reinstall the new 3.x version. You won't lose your settings.

Also, wpForo 2.x plugin version works only with 3.x version of addons.

@kylew Ok Thanks Kylie, I deleted and installed the v3.0.0 with no problem, everything works fine now. 👍
