I am trying to get this to work with .zip files and a .sd3p file extension that I entered in and neither of them upload via the form field.  They do work fine via the normal forum attachment option, just not in the form field upload.  Am I doing something wrong?  I have tried it with and without the periods.

The form field does upload properly a .png & .mp3 file that I tested.  I would think .zip would definately be allowed.

@kylew

Tried that, still does not upload via the form field attachment.  I guess it's not a big deal since the wpForo forum upload attachment works; maybe it's a bug?  I tried with both file extensions...

@mayhemkrew,

It's not a bug, this comes from WordPress, which doesn't allow uploading some file types for security reason.

You can try to find Custom Codes or Plugin which can give the ability to add/allow file types in WordPress.

We will try to find something workable for you too.

@kylew Incorrect.  I understand what you are saying however, the files do upload via the wpForo forums just fine, and I do have a plugin to allow the .sd3p file format and .zip.  You OBVIOUSLY do not read my posts.  So I am done here.
