There have been existing members on my website before I installed wpForo. While installing there has been a synchronisation with WP Users. Now there are profiles (with real names, not nicenames) for all of my users, even the ones who did not optin into using the forum. I disabled the Members-Tab, but they still can be found in Private-Messages by typing letters or by changing the ID in the profile URL.

Is there a way to undo the synchronisation or otherwise to ensure that members who log into their WP-accounts are not just added with new profiles in the forum?

Hi @breakbeat77,

Please note the user in WordPress and wpForo are the same. There is no way to separate those users. We may suggest you use a WordPress multisite. You may install wpForo on the subsite so in this case, you'll be able to separate the main website users with the wpForo users.
