I can manually sync the forums, which works fine. But it doesn't Auto Sync all of my set topics/categories.

Is there a way to add the sync trigger to a cron job?

I didn't have issues when i only had 2 categories cross-posting it seems. but then one of the forums was deleted on accident and that could have possibly been the cause after added more forums and categories to auyo cross-post. I noticed there was a " forum not found " message in the list of categories to auto-post to. It was looking for Forum ID2 so I created a new forum. went into the database shifted the ID to 2 to replaced the previously deleted forum.  it then showed in the listed so I deleted it from the list and then delete that forum.

But still no go. seems it just is not auto syncing.

ok after further testing I found that post created using a "front end" posting process does not trigger a sync to the forum

@owen-larson,

Yes, it may be the case. This addon only supports the native ways of creating posts. If a post is created by some plugin or theme it may not be supported.

@tomson ok, so been looking into this..  this is front end posting process is done using insert post.. so it should work. why is your system not seeing the post?   what is it looking for?  is there a way to hook into it to get this to process??  this feature is a big deal and should be part of your plugin.  help us work this out so your plugin looks even better for those wanting this type of feature in the future?
