Faced an unexpected problem (
Why the Attachments plugin does not provide the function of rewriting the names of images uploaded by users. I have a lot of experience with forums, unfortunately there are people who can harm the community by uploading images with obscene or incorrect names.
It should be possible to automatically rewrite the names of pictures. This is a standard feature for the forum, and it is very important!

This option doesn't exists. We'll add it in our to-do list and make it available as soon as possible. I'm really sorry , but at the moment we don't have any ETA for this feature.

Please update the add-on to the latest version (v. 1.3.0) and check again. The feature is already available. The forum admins can change the file name from Dashboard > Forums > Attachment admin page.Â
