Unable to activate "wpForo Advanced Attachments" add-on; don't see any error messages in nginx or php error logs; when I tried to activate plugin it reported "Plugin activated", but in fact it still inactive. Need help.

I think this is a server configuration issue, it doesn't open remote connection to gVectors.com activation server. If you have an option to use Apache for a small time, please try to activate it on a regular Apache server.

I don't have an option to use other web server, it's in production. Please provide the troubleshooting steps.

Something is irregular on your server or WP so we don't know the exact reason, there is no way to troubleshoot it by discussing it here.
