Hi forum,

is there a way to limit the number of attachments a member can upload to a single post? If its detailed somewhere I've failed miserably to find it.

Hi @radiostv

I'm really sorry, but the addon doesn't have such an option. However, I'll ask the developers to discuss this. We may implement the feature in the future updates.

Thanks, that would really help if it was considered for inclusion.

To my mind it very necessary and a lot of pro forums have this ability. Its especially useful in two ways.

  1. It encourages members to be prudent with their uploading, what's to stop them sticking in 50 photo's to a single post.
  2. For people running on certain hosting packages they may not be limited to storage but limited to number of files. Without being able to set quotas on forum members attachments per post, you can quickly use up file numbers.

I run an electronics repair forum and its photo intensive, I need to be able to limit each post to around 4 photos, maybe less. Currently they can upload whatever amount they want, its a nightmare.
