Users have to attach files then actually click a button to start download (can we make it so files that are uploaded automatically start uploading?)

Also to insert a picture users have to check the box and then click insert into post, seems like a lot of unnecessary steps

Could we make it so they don’t to check any boxes but rather it auto adds the most recently uploaded images to the post ?

Hi @jai9mareddy,

Thank you for this suggestion.

The Advanced Attachment add-on is based on user-specific media library. It allows users to insert into the content the previously added attachments instead of uploading a new one.

We've discussed with our team and decided to add the new option that'll allow forum administrators to reduce the steps of attaching files in the add-on. We'll implement the feature in near future updates.

We need the issue to be resolved urgently as there is no use in purchasing it if it results in complexity rather than feasibility. Hence please release the update at urgent priority please.

@jai9mareddy

Please update the add-on to the latest version (v. 1.3.0). The feature is already included in the version.

We've also added the following two features that makes uploading images easily for forum users:

  • Drag and Drop file uploading feature
  • Copy image from PC or other devices and paste in editor

Thanks. I just saw that attach file problem is solved. One important issue is there that its only allowing image upload upto 128 bytes! In bytes image is very very less and it should be atleast in kb/mbs

First image being uploaded goes to the last position within the post. Order of uploading should match with order of display of image on post
