Hi, is there a way to limit the "attach file" function to certain forum role. Like for example I want only the forum admin can attach some files and not the member or subscriber.

Hi @lasner,

File attachment and file viewing permissions are located in the Forum Access settings like all other forum accesses. wpForo forum access control is based on the Forum Accesses you grant to certain Usergroups in each Forum Editing screen.

For example, by default all users of the Registered Usergroup have Standard Access. You can edit the Standard Access in wpForo > Accesses admin page and uncheck the "Can attach file" and "Can view attached files" permissions.

PLease read this topic to become more familiar with wpForo access control and usergroups: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wordpress-user-roles-wpforo-usergroups-and-forum-accesses/

Regarding the max size.

It seems the "KB" is wrong in the setting page, it should be "MB" so you cannot set more than 512 MB for this option as it's set in your server's PHP configuration. So please set values less than 512 MB.
