As you can see, you can't stop the setting by clearing the checkbox
It's a little inconvenient, so it will be helpful if you fix it.

We'll fix this issue in the next version.
If you need to get it resolved ASAP, please follow the steps below:
- Open the wpforoad.php located in the wp-content/plugins/wpforo-ad-manager/ folder
- Find the 70 line
- Change the Status form 1 to 0

I changed the value to 0 and I was able to change the setting safely
