I recently updated all 3 of my paid addons and the base package. We now can't comment without getting "Nonce is invalid". I've looked and seen this error reported and have taken steps to remedy it without any luck.

I use W3 Total Cache and I've purged all caches/CDN and warmed the cache again, but the error still pops up.

My original problem was that using the user mention feature was popping up a red bar in the top right but with no error message. Now that everything is up to date it's popping the "Nonce is Invalid" when I include a user, BUT ALSO with any comment, so my site comments are down at the moment.

Thank you

I've confirmed that if I deactivate W3 Total Cache the problem goes away. I'm currently looking for something here on the forum that deals with W3 Total Cache conflict.

I re-enabled W3 total cache and then disabled these two features in Settings

This seemed to take care of the problem. I'd like to know if there is something that needs to be done to allow me to turn these two features back on, if possible, or if they are even necessary. Otherwise it seems things are fixed.

@ronnie-tanner,

Please reactivate the two options and leave some example URL to allow us to check the issue.

I reactivated everything and now go and it seems to be working. Maybe it was something in the cache that finally got sorted out.

Yes, it should be a cache issue. You'll just need to properly delete all kinds of caches.
