I purchased and activated the BuddyBoss addon, but there are no new notification preferences added to the Notification Preferences page. I also checked BuddyBoss Settings > Notifications in the admin area and there is nothing to enable.
I later noticed that this is under the Read, Unread, Settings area, but it should be added as a notification to BuddyBoss instead.

Please note that this is a BuddyPress integration addon. We don't support BuddyBoss. The notification preference settings should be available for all users in their profile page, as it's shown in the screenshot below. Again this is a Buddypress not BuddyBoss.
Also, please check and make sure there is no option to enable / disable notification preference for users in BuddyBoss settings.
A lot of the comments on the forum state that you DO support BuddyBoss.
