In the image on your website about the BuddPress Integration Plugin it shows an activity stream that contains a comment:
However in the settings of the plugin I can only see two options, voting a comment or rating a post:
And in fact comments don't appear in the activity stream.
Did I miss a setting or is this a bug?

If the "Allow activity stream commenting on posts and comments" BuddyPress option is enabled and it doesn't work, then you'll need to contact the BuddyPress plugin support with this question.
The "Allow activity stream commenting on posts and comments" BuddyPress option is located in the Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > Options admin page.

I have BuddyBoss not BuddyPress so I think you mean this setting:
Is this supposed to show single comments whenever they happen in the stream?
I found out that importing comments with WPDiscuz Tools works perfect just as expected:
All comments appear in the stream:
But they do not appear without using the tool.
How can I make them update in real time?
BuddyBoss seems to place all comments within one Activity Post below the post instead of single posts for every comment in the stream.
I like it better though how the import tool of WPDiscuz is working by posting every single comment as separate post. Now if this would happen in real time it would be perfect.
With the BuddyPress plugin, the issue will be fixed in the next version. But the changes may not work with the BuddyBoss plugin.
The developers will do their best to make the integration with BuddyBoss as soon as possible.
