Hello, I recently installed this plugin in a client's wpForo installation. The client has 4K+ active & inactive members in their database. For simplicity for their primarily senior members (60+ yrs old), I turned off forum registration so they do not have to register for the Forum separately.

wpForo recognizes all 4K+ active & expired (or inactive) members. I would like to restrict access to the forum to only the active members. Is there anyway for the Memberpress plugin to respect expired (or inactive) members en mass?

Thank you!

Hi,

This is not an add-on related question. This should be configured in the main MemberPress plugin settings.

This is an integration add-on; it allows you to control the permissions/CANs for the users within the forum. Additionally, please note that wpForo users are the same as WordPress users. You cannot add users only to the forum. User registration and account creation are part of WordPress.

I think you have misunderstood my question and point. I am NOT asking about user registration NOR account creation.

The MemberPress add-on recognizes both ACTIVE & INACTIVE\EXPIRED Memberpress users. In MemberPress, the members are listed as both\either Inactive or Expired.

The MemberPress add-on is recognizing every single member regardless of the active, inactive and expired status.

Is there anyway for the Memberpress add-on to IGNORE Inactive or Expired Members?

Hi @natasha-scott,

wpForo doesn't have any relation to the active/inactive member recognition by MemberPress. All users of wpForo are the WordPress users. The inactive status is based on the email confirmation which comes from WordPress as well.

The addon is a MemberPress Integration addon it's not a MemberPress addon. This addon is only designed to connect Memberships to Forum Accesses. It cannot force Memberpress to ignore any member.
