Twitter/X embedding has been working for us for awhile...but as of the past couple days, it has stopped.
Stepping back though, I was informed by the site admin that anytime a user shares a post from X, they have always had to change the url to use 'twitter' instead of 'x' for the embed to work.
I read through the wpForo discussions this was also an issue about 1.5 years ago...any chance that will be changed to work with wpDiscuz?
Now to the latest issue...any URLs from twitter.com or x.com are no longer embedding.
Would this be because of X's outage yesterday due to an alleged cyberattack?

Not sure if this could be a cause of it, but publish.twitter.com seems to no longer exist:
