I'm trying to figure out how to get this plugin to work properly. I like the look and the features, but I'm having a lot of problems.

Problem 1: When I activated it the featured image on my blog post is no longer visible at the top of my article. It is, however, visible on the homepage with the title excerpt. But once you click to read the full blog, it will not load the image anymore.

Problem 2: Very few of the button work within the comment section. I can type in the comment box and that works fine. But the Subscribe drop down, the sorting (newest, oldest, most popular), voting, reply, edit, close, and load more comments button do not work.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Any feedback would be helpful, I'm still learning the more technical side of blogging.

If you need to see it here's a sample page: https://rethinknow.org/2018/03/22/the-most-offensive-things-jesus-ever-said/

I'm running SiteOrigin Unwind.

Hi @jcp988

It seems there is a plugin conflict. Please deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find the problem maker plugin.

If the issue still exists keep wpDiscuz activate to allow us to check it.
Please don't forget to delete all caches and press CTRL+F5(twice) on the frontend before checking.

@elvina

Thank you so much! I found the plugin that was creating almost all the problems. Turns out I didn't need it so I deleted it. That fixed the featured image problem and most of the buttons that wouldn't work.

But, the reply button is still not working. When I click reply on a comment, nothing happens. I've checked the rest of the plugins and none of them seem to be interfering.

@jcp988,

You've js error on your website and it comes from the cache plugin. Please deactivate the Autoptimize plugin and check again.

cache

You should exclude wpDiscuz js/CSS files from  Autoptimize plugin's settings.

Read this doc for Autoptimize Settings:   https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/autoptimize-settings/

@jcp988,

As we see you use the Jetpack Comments form.

Please follow this support topic and pay attention in the tip 5 https://gvectors.com/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/resolved-wpdiscuz-comment-form-is-missing/
