Limited Support
Our team is currently on holiday, so support will be limited during this period. Response times may be slower than usual, and some inquiries may be delayed. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’ll resume our usual support by the end of August.
With the latest update of WPDiscuz the commenter has now the possibility to add a website address. However, if they don't want to do it, the web address field, instead of remaining empty, registers the string "site web address" - or similar wording - meaning that all visitors APPEAR to own a site, while they clearly don't.
Am I making sense? 😀
Hi Arka,
Could you please show some screenshot, we don't see such an issue on our end.
Just click on the commenter's name and you'll see what I mean.

Some of them are in English until I changed the phrase.
Ok, I think the problem is that the strings that are in the various boxes (like "Comment" within the comment box or "Name" in the name box) are "real" text and not "dummy" text. What I mean is that if I don't enter anything in the box itself that text is taken as the content of the box (hence the commenter's name is "Name" or the content of the comment is "Comment").
I believe that shouldn't be the case.
Am I making any sense? 🙂
Ok, fixing...
Hi there,
I have just updated, but now it is even worse 🙂 Now I MUST enter a website, otherwise I cannot comment at all.
I should have the option of leaving that field empty so that no website is registered (as opposed to the web site being called "website" by default).
