Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue with WPDiscuz - the majority of commenters are having their email published. Users to my site register with their email as their username, but the default wordpress comments displays their first name (not their username/email). Is there a way to make WPDiscuz do the same? I have manually changed the usernames of commenters who have had their email address published, but this isn't really sustainable.

Hi @microenglish,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Users admin page. Edit the current user (that are having the current issue) and check the value of the "Display name publicly as" option's value.

Thanks for getting back to me - that does work, but I would need to manually update about 500 users. Can you suggest any other way around this?

Hi Chris,

I apologize for the late response. 

I'm sorry, but there is not any other option for this purpose.  This doesn't come from wpDiscuz. It's the WordPress default option.
