Submitting a comment is very slow

Hello,

The plugin seems to be working well except when a user submits a comment it take ~6 seconds before the comment is actually posted and visible. When I look at the network in Chrome dev tools it seems to just wait for a long delay, but I can't figure out why. Can you have a look? Install and activate the Query Monitor plugin,  it will help you to show easily query vars for the current request.
