[Solved] Plugin not loading on main screen

Your home page is a category page. wpDiscuz and WordPress comment system is designed for single post pages. There is no way to have comment section on category page.

ah ok, so my home page is a category page, but what about on each individual post?

So if you click on the most recent post:

and scroll to the bottom, it still has the WP default comment box.  How can I get WPDiscuz to show there?

It's not the default comment, it's wpDiscuz. Please see the screen:

I cannot type in that field.  Are you able to type in there?

There is a "log in" prompt but that has no way to sign up so that you can log in

You just need to login to be able leave a comment. If you want to enable guest commenting just navigate to Dashboard > Comments > Forms admin page, edit the Default Form and check/enable guest commenting option. Save delete all caches and do Ctrl+F5 on front-end
