We are trying to use wpdiscuz and we are encountering a problem. When a user hovers over a comment vote icon (thumbs up/down), the screen navigates to the top of the page.
In troubleshooting this, we did find a forum thread that reported a similar error. The solution was to remove some CSS from the functions.php in the theme (see this link). However, our theme does not have this code and this did not seem to help us.
We then created a test site where the only things installed are your plugin and our theme. The error still exists, so we confirmed it is our theme (we think). There are no other plugins activated besides wpdiscuz. We use a theme called "The One" by SmoothThemes. We are actually using a child theme from this theme.
Can you help us troubleshoot this? We may have to switch to another commenting plugin if we cannot resolve this soon.
Dave
Hi there, I'm having the exact same problem.
@Dbinbrea, did you find a solution? I really like this commenting system as well, but if the like button basic function isn't working - it's not really worth it on my end either
Hi luckykimchi,
This issue is not wpDiscuz issue. Some themes has unusual scripts which affects wpDiscuz comment pox. Each of such problem has different solution so we can't provide with an exact fixing way. Please leave website URL to allow us insect your theme specific problem.
