Good day. How to hide for guests (unregistered users) the ability to subscribe to comments?

As soon as at least one comment appears in the post, the subscription form is immediately visible. Even if the option "Guests can not leave comments."

The fact is that spammers and competitors use this option to send a lot of subscription letters from my site to the emails (addresses) that they put into the bot. My mail address (Amazon SES) may be compromised.

Yes, in Settings there is a checkmark "Ask for confirmation", but the letter to confirm the registration still leaves. And a lot of people get them as spam.

What can I do? Can you add a setting to remove guests from the ability to subscribe to comments?

This is a safety issue.

Hi @dm1,

Currently, we are discussing with our team to add the new option that hides the subscription bar from guests. I'll let you know once I got some news for you.

Ok, thanks.

According to the logic. You can hide the subscription option for guests along with the ability to write comments.
