I've followed all the instructions to a "T", but it's not working on either one of my websites:
https://solasstudios.com/news/celebrating-solas-studios-tenth-birthday/
https://earththroughthelens.com/finding-locations-to-fly-your-drone-legally-for-scenic-landscape-photos-video/
On one website, it just redirects you back from facebook to the comment page, but doesn't log you in. On the other website, it redirections you back to the home page of the site (not the comment page) and gives you an error:
Hi @photogad,
We've just test it on your website, the social login work but after the page refresh.
It seems you’re using some cache plugin. Please deactivate all cache plugins, press CTRL+F5 (twice) on the frontend and check again.

Hello @elvina
Thank you for your assistance. Disabling the cache plugin worked.
Are there any cache plugins you can recommend that might be compatible with the wpdiscuz plugin for social login, or any settings that could be changed?
Also, is there a way to add an anchor to the comment area so that when the user returns to the page automatically from facebook, it scrolls their browser back down to the comment box? (If not, that might be a feature you can suggest to your development team).
Thank you 🙂
you can use the current caching plugin. Just exclude the wpDiscuz js files from the plugin settings, it should work fine:
/wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz/assets/wpdiscuz-social.js
/wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz/assets/wpdiscuz.js
