- we are using WPDiscuz 5.3.5. Is this the actual version?

-  did you/gVectots already know the problem that i've described above?

Yes, the wpDiscuz 5.3.5 is an actual version. 

Currently, the wpDiscuz 7 is released but it's in beta stage, you can test it here:  https://beta.wpdiscuz.com/

exact this was our irritation. we have the actual wpDiscuz version 5.3.5 and version 7! is coming. so we think that we missed the updates 5.x & 6.x.x.

Is it sure that this problem is caused by wpDiscuz? Because if not we waste time for waiting weeks for a update

Could you please download and activate the wpDiscuz 7 beta version and check again.

If the issue still exists please let us know. 

@elvina we did not have a staging enviroment and we are a little bit scary to do betatesting at our productive system.

If you say "...yes the wpdiscuz development team know the GSC Field itemReviewed ERROR and working on a solution for the next update..." then it is ok for us to wait.

the main problem is that it is not a Warning in the GSC. It is an ERROR (a lot of ERRORS) and sites will lose their ranking in the Google Serps.

Yes, this is already fixed in the in the wpDiscuz 7 beta version. If you are not able to check the beta version, just wait for the wpDiscuz 7 stable version release.

I'm sorry but there is no way to fix this issue in old versions. The plugin update ideas is to have all bug fixed in the latest versions. We recommend you update it to the latest stable 5.3.5 or to just released 7.0.0 beta-7 version. You can find the new wpDiscuz 7 beta version here:> https://beta.wpdiscuz.com/

@tomson Hi Tom, did I understand your post right that version 5.3.5 of wpDiscuz will fix the error message in the GoogleSearch Console "objecttype for field itemReviewed is not valid"?

No, i mean you need to update to the latest stable version to be able to update to wpDiscuz 7 beta-7. The issue is fixed in wpDiscuz 7. So you can easily update it using this instruction: https://beta.wpdiscuz.com/community/faq/updating-to-wpdiscuz-7-beta-version/

@tomson Does it make sense to upgrade to the latest stable version 5.3.5?
If this version will need to be deleted!
Updating wpDiscuz Plugin
3.In Dashboard> Plugins admin page deactivate, then delete the old wpDiscuz plugin.
4.Click on the [Add New] button on top of this admin page and upload wpDiscuz 7 beta zip file.
Maybe it is better to install wpDiscuz 7 beta right away without updating to 5.3.5?

it's always safe to upgrade from previous version to next than update from old version to latest. This is the only reason I ask you to update to the latest stable then to the beta.

1. you should backup your database

2. Update to 5.3.5 to make the latest stable changes in database.

3. if you have wpDiscuz addons, you should deactivate all those and wait for new version of addons which are compatible with wpDiscuz 7 version.

4. Deactivate and delete the stable version

5. Click on the [Add New] button on top of this admin page and upload wpDiscuz 7 beta zip file. You can download the latest Beta version of wpDiscuz 7 here:> https://beta.wpdiscuz.com/

6. Follow to the update wizard and complete the update.

7. Delete all caches, reset all optimizer plugins caches, purge CDN if you have and pres Ctrl+F5 twice on website front-end to reset browser cache. Then test the comment plugin.

@tomson Hello! I updated the plugin to 5.3.5
Got a problem.
1) Guest writes a comment, put 1 star.
2) Comment goes to moderation.
But the star rating is already visible before approval!
If the admin removes this comment, the star rating is not deleted.
Please tell me how to fix this?

Please continue updating and update to latest v7 beta-7, then delete all caches.

It's almost stable. We just testing it and boosting the performance. The current stage is a Release Candidate.

@tomson Tom we know that the quality from gvectors is really good but I think we will wait for the final; because we are fearful GERMANS... {green}:smile:
