I'm able to set custom messages for email notifications. However, I have the option for "use .MO and .PO files" selected, I'm no longer able to choose any phrases...

 

Is it possible to still have these custom email templates?

Hi michael.judd,

I'm sorry but you can't use the customized Email Template of Phrase system when PO/MO is enabled. This option turns off wpDiscuz Phrase system, all phrases are loaded from PO file. You should put this customization in PO file.

No worries. I can't seem to find where I would actually edit the .po english file. I know where I would for french but where do I edit the default template?

I was actually able to do this by editing the class.WpdiscuzOptionsSerialized.php file... This seems a little scary though as I don't want to maintain it through that.
