Hi--
I used the Agreeable plugin to have my commenters agree to the site's Terms of Use before they submit a comment. I just installed wpDiscuz, and this no longer works. Is your plugin compatible with the Agreeable plugin? If not, do you know of a way to achieve the same result with wpDiscuz (include some sort of agreement to Terms in the comment process)?
Thanks
Hi cll321,
I'm sorry but wpDiscuz is not compatible with plugins which adds some changes in comment form. Currently we're working on wpDiscuz 4, it comes with comment form custom fields, you'll be able to add the agreement checkbox using built-in wpDiscuz features. We're planning to release wpDiscuz 4 by the middle of next month.
Thanks for getting back, Tom. I don't launch until Aug. 15, so I may be able to make that work (or just get long with Jetpack until v4 comes out). Just to confirm, I'll be able to not only create a check-box for agreement, but also require the box be checked for a comment to post? In other words, it's not just an option I can create for the user, but a requirement. (I assume so, but wanted to check.)
Yes, sure, the checkbox can also be required.
