Hi All,

I couldnt find a straight answer to this in the forum. Is it possible to allow guests to post without registering for the site? I have my wordpress discussion settings wide open. (users must login is unchecked. so is 'users must provide name and email') but it still asks the user to login to post a comment. I doubt any of my plugins would create this conflict, as it doesn't appear to be an error but just a feature thing or a setting somewhere.

I can share the site privately with gvector moderator/developers.

Hi @chad,

Thank you for using wpDiscuz.

"I couldnt find a straight answer to this in the forum. Is it possible to allow guests to post without registering for the site?"

Please navigate to Dashboard > Comments > Forms admin page, edit the "Default form", enable the "Allow guests to comment" option.

More info here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-documentation/getting-started/custom-comment-form/comment-form-settings/#only-loggedin

"I doubt any of my plugins would create this conflict, as it doesn't appear to be an error but just a feature thing or a setting somewhere."

I don't think there is a plugin conflict. If the option is enabled, and you will still see the issue, just leave some example URL to allow us to check it.

@chad,

We'd really appreciate and be thankful if you leave a good review on plugin page. This is the best way to say thank you to this project and support team.
