Although clicking post comment again produces an error that the comment has already been added and a manual refresh of the page does indeed show that the comment was added. It just is not refreshing the page when the comment is added merely producing a blank thin red error box.

My issue was the plugin Buddyboss reply by email. Is there a known conflict with that plugin?

I'm really sorry but we couldn't find any solution, this comes from Wordpress core files, they generates some error and this error goes to wpDiscuz form. Or maybe this is hosting service specific issue. Could you please install a fresh WordPress in e.g. /wordpress/ subfolder on the same server and test wpDiscuz again?
