Sure. We're currently using wpForo 1.0.0 Betta 12 . We're planning to release this forum in wordpress.org plugin directory next month.

tom, thanks for very quick replies. then will the users have to register separately for wpForo or can the exiting wordpress users log in and post? i mean will wpForo be a native wordpress forum like wpdiscuz? don't like the idea of hosted forums or bridging other forums in wordpress. thanks.

wpForo is a simple WordPress plugin which integrated with WordPress login/user system, like bbPress. So it's a professional forum board for WordPress which is fully integrated with WordPress.

thanks for the update...just a couple of requests for wpForo. hope it is completely translatable (with .po/.mo) files and contents (posts/threads etc.) searchable by default wordpress search...regards...

1. will wpforo be localized with .po/.mo files?

Sure, wpForo comes with Translation files like other plugins. It has it's own search. The simple WordPress Search doesn't work for forum topics and posts. Forum search system is bit different, it comes with simple simple and advanced form.

ok, very good news...regarding search is the forum custom post type that can be searched by some other premium search plugins? was hoping to use one search box throughout the site. thanks for your wonderful work...

I stumbled upon this site while looking for a suitable forum for WordPress. I'm sick of trying to make bbPress work like it should and it seems like a dead project despite the $50k that was raised not too long ago.

Anyway, I really like the format and functionality I see here in WPForo and just wanted to express my interest.

Do you have any plans to integrate it with Ultimate Member? That is the one thing bbPress has going for it -- UM has integrated it into their user profile system.

Thank you for your interest in wpForo.

wpForo has it's own Profile page with three subPages:

• Profile Management
• Activity
• Subscribed Topics

There are very specific data on those pages which are forum related data and not supported on Ultimate Member Profile page. We can add functions to auto-update profile information and avatar with Ultimate Member Profile Page but we can't disable wpForo profile system, it'll lost lots of essential information and functions. Please navigate your profile page and let us know how should be this  integration performed to not lose those information and account management options.

The most important option is TimeZone settings. wpForo changes all date/times for each registered user individual according to its timezone. And other very useful data...

Ive just installed wpforo from the wordpress plug in page. love the feel of the whole thing and it seems really easy to use (Me never having done a forum on a website before)  BUT just went back to my Dashboard and cant find it? well it is there but noe only shows Dashboard, Forums, Profile and collapse menu in the left hand column... am I missing something?

It's OK... got it. Duh!
