I have just realized that the wpforo forum changes depending on whatever theme that you use... and I was wondering if there is any recommend or ideal theme to use with the plugin?

wpForo is compatible with almost all themes.
Here is a nice example of wpForo with Divi’s Marathon Layout Pack.
Here are recommendations form wpForo users, please check them as well.
