I am using a custom field on my hockey website as one way to prevent spammers from registering. They need to add the name of the hockey coach in order to get approved. I check this manually and then approve of disapprove.

My question is this...

Is there a way to set a custom field to do a check? So basically if they give a response in the text field that does not match the coach's name, it will be rejected?

So when a spammer or bot enters 2543987 in that field, it will check against against the approved answer of "coaches name" and rejects the account registration.

I am guessing there is not way to go this, but I figured that it didn't hurt to ask.

Hi @craig-cotner,

You are right that cannot be done with only the addon, you need more coding I guess.
