Hello.

I've purchased without any doubts and installed on live site, but this is working in an unexpected way.

I thought this message addon would work the way most chatting apps work, like skype and gooogle hangouts.

But when I click on Send button, it refreshes the page and the message is not listed on the receiver's side either until receiver reloads the page.

Is this how it is supposed to work?

Thank you.

Noy.

Hi @noydarly,

Yes, it is. This is a Private Messaging plugin, this is not Chat plugin. Private message is like an Email but in your forum. These are regular posts within a conversation so this is not live-time chatting system. wpForo doesn't have chat yet. We'll add live notification of new messages in near future releases but it'll still work as message board not like a chat.
