Well there is that. I think I'll wait...as everything seems to be working and shows latest versions.
Yes, wonder whether this was caused by a file being changed. Wordfence scan advised me a file had been changed so I opted to restore the original and then this happened. And in fact, I already tried deleting yesterday and reinstalling. That fixed the issue for one day with both addins for WPForo, even though I only reinstalled the embed addin. Weird. And It's reoccurred.
The last version is 1.0.3. Please deactivate it, then delete, go to gVectors Account page, download new one and install it again.
Hi Tom, it's first thing i do, i delete it 2 time and re-install it before posting here!
But i'm not the only one...
Installing Plugin from uploaded file: wpforo-embeds-1.0.3.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists.
Plugin install failed.
This is not addon problem, this is files system permission and file read/writing issue. It may come from some security plugin or from wrong configured file system owners. in any case I recommend delete the addon. Then connect via FTP or cPanel file manager and delete addon folder. The error says WordPress can't fully delete it. S you should delete it manully. Then upload and install it again.
Hi
I have the same problem this what it shows on plugins page for both addons.
There is a new version of wpForo Advanced Attachments available. View version details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.
There is a new version of wpForo Embeds available. View version details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.
I try already download from gVector site both and if reinstall it appear again.
P.S. I also have Wordfence installed.
Will try delete through cPanel as you recommended.
