Oembed and videos work fine - wordpress links do not

I'm sorry but I have no other idea. This is a site specific issue and you should eliminate specific things to find the problem maker. Try to disable all other plugins and keep deleting wpForo (Forums > Dashboard) cache and website cache.

Hi Tom,

Both my live and staging sites mirror each other, which is why I'm confused that it works on one and not the other. I'm not seeing any specific errors or anything that would explain this. 

I do have other websites often loading the oembed, but not wordpress (on my live site). 

Not sure what else to do. I'd really like to get the WP embed working as it's part of the reason why I went with the embed plugin.

1. Make sure, you enable oEmbed option, as mentioned here :

2. Also please delete all caches, before testing.  If you have some cache plugins deactivate them, switch to the default theme and test it again.
