How to turn off the embed for a post

I'm liking my new addon. 👍

But how to turn off the embed feature for a post, as embedding several news URLs takes up too much space.

I tried the paste as plain text, but would prefer the URL title to be displayed rather than the raw url.

I also tried wrapping in code, but even that displays the full embed (is that a bug?)

I even edited the class parameter to to FALSE via source code, but that didn't work either.
