Thumbnail Max Width, Thumbnail Max Height, are not working right. They are not MAX but the actual size IF the images are SMALLER than those.
Meaning, a small image thumbnail, is RESIZED to those max.
Also i would like to add that i'm not happy with that plugin. It could be much much better.

Try using two images one big one small, the small one must be much smaller than the Thumbnail Height and Width, the big one Bigger than the Thumbnail Height and Width, you will see that the small image size would not be changed.
Nope. Not what happens.
See my capture. The thumbnail is resized to MAX and the popup is the correct size.

please provide the IMG you showed in your post and also try another IMG, I'm not sure why you have that kind of issue but we will find out the problem and help you resolve it.
Sure, here it comes. All images like that (smaller than max) have the same issue.
I see here it shows normally.
