Is there a way for the comment system to operate as a live chat? So that the comment system would operate as a live discussion in a specific part of the website and not on the back-end of blog posts? Is there a shortcode that would allow a live commenting feed, where anyone could comment on anything. Could I have a comment system on the home page of my website where people are just talking about things as a discussion, using wpDiscuz?

You can Enable the "wpDiscuz on Home Page" option. Please note: wpDiscuz comment plugin is designed for single post types (posts, pages, etc…).
