Experiencing something similar... plugins are automatically deactivating with a message "wpDiscuz - Comment Search addon was deactivated, because your license isn't valid."

The expired license email says: "You can continue to use your purchased addons for lifetime without any limitation in functions, however in order to get addon updates, new features, bug fixes and premium support you should renew those by purchasing wpDiscuz Addons Bunde."

@c-s,

Are you using the latest version(v. 7.1.0) of wpDiscuz plugin?

@astghik No, looks like didn't update from 7.0.X before license expired. "You can continue to use your purchased addons for lifetime without any limitation in functions" but then having all plugins deactivate themselves because because they weren't updated seems like an intentional limitation in functions and a force to renew license to get the update to 7.1.0 so that they don't auto deactivate...

@nabros Yes, but check again in a day or two and see if they are still activated.

The bold text doesn't have any relation to the core free wpDiscuz plugin. It's related to the addons, and it is still valid. That's why you can continue to use your addons.

We're asking you to update the free core plugin. Nobody asks you pay or get any paid addon, just keep updating the free wpDiscuz plugin to be up to date. So just update the wpDiscuz plugin and continue to use your paid addons with expired licenses.

BTW, the 7.0.1 has an important bug-fix, which will not deactivate your expired addons, so it'll understand that your addons had been once activated and the addons were purchased legally. In other words the 7.1.0 version was released especially for cases like yours.

@tomson Thank you for the reply. It was a misunderstanding. The core wpDiscuz has been updated to 7.1.0 since the day 7.1.0 was made available. Yet, the addons (with expired license) are continuously deactivated after a few hours.

I will renew the addons license, but can't find the code (think it offered 50% off) for return customers. Even if the addons work forever without renewing the license, I wanted to support the plugin as you keep making improvements 🙂

First I wanted to figure out why the addons keep deactivating even if they are supposed to continue working after the license expires.

Thank you for your help!

This is not a general case. Some data is saved incorrectly in your website or there were some issue with the previous license activations. In any case this is not designed to be work in that way. We can fix it for you and let you continue to use the old versions if we got an admin access to your website.

I'm sorry, but there is no any kinds of discount for the Addons Bundle. The bundle is already a pack of 90% discounted addons for unlimited website installation. This is the maximum discount. You can get 50% discount for Single Site Licenses if you buy X number of addons based on the Sale Pack rules: https://gvectors.com/gvectors-store-discounts-sale-packs/

@tomson Got it! Thought it was posted somewhere in this forum that you always offered discounts to return customers no matter what they purchase. Either way, still want to support the plugin. Thanks for the help!
