I want to enforce strong passwords and have a plugin to do so. Any way to put validation on the password creation field with custom fields addon so that someone cannot enter a password without upper and lower case, without number, without special characters, without less than 8 characters. I only see length as an option.

wpForo doesn't have that option for now, but we will add this option to our to-do list, it will be available with the next version of User Custom Fields.

@kylew Thanks that would certainly convince more people to buy the addon if you got support for strong passwords with it. My main drivers for purchasing it were 1. Security issue where without it everything is set to username. I wanted users to be able to set display name and nickname during registration to something different than username. 2. I want users to opt-in to mailing list/newsletter upon forum registration. I would have bought it for native strong password support too!
