The plugin is simply not working for my and my theme. All comments are being loaded. I only need the lazy loading pagination feature or the [Load More] button.

How do I go about basic troubleshooting steps? In other words, how do I identify the underlying problem? I do not have much experience with WordPress, so I am still exploring the system. But I'm fairly decent in PHP so I am checking the code to see if I find what I'm looking for. That being said, if there are common troubleshooting steps for this plugin or for plugins in general I would greatly appreciate them.

I am using Accelerate by Theme Grill if that is of any help.

I have made some custom changes to the theme and I have cooked up a working solution for the time being. The site is live and already serving customers and my priority is to keep it working according to the requirements. I appreciate the follow up VaroS, but I won't be able to undo the changes.

If you have any other suggestion I am open to try something else.
