Hello.

I'd like to address an issue with the "Notify on new replies (checkbox)".

It is clickable even though the user has not entered his email.

When this happens it tries to send emails to auto-generated addresses like 57c880c8974c9@example.com, thus keeps failing.

So, is there a fix or a way for the checkbox to be disabled until an email is submitted in the email field first?

Please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi Catmaniax,

Please note: it does not send to any auto-generated addresses. It seems you have a specific issue. However, I do not understand you at all, could you please clarify a bit? What exactly is the issue?

Ok, I'm attaching a screenshot, to make myself more clear.

As seen in the screenshot, I want to make the checkbox  that says "Notify me by email on new replies" to be disabled/unclickable if the user did not write his email first on the "Email" field (also seen in the screenshot).

And if possible, when someone writes his email, the checkbox to be automatically ticked.

Do you think all this could be achieved?

Please let me know.
Thanks!

Catmaniax,

Ok, I understood. You can disable from wpDiscuz settings > subscription tab.

That has nothing to do with what I asked.

Catmaniax,

I thought that you need to hide "notify me by email on new replies" line. Is that what you want?
