Hi,
I started my blog in 2010 and installed Facebook Comments Plugin (by Facebook) which has not been updated or supported in a long time but still works.
I want to use a commenting system that allows people more options especially to post privately (without being connected to FB name/account) however I want to retain all my FB comments.
Facebook sent the message yesterday: "Your App, Heidi Hanson's Blog, is currently accessing Graph API v2.5 which will reach the end of its 2-year lifetime on 12 April, 2018. We estimate 2 endpoints that Heidi Hanson's Blog calls will be impacted by this change and may stop working after the automatic upgrade push. To ensure a smooth transition, please migrate all calls to Graph API v2.6 or higher. Use the API Upgrade Tool to understand exactly how this change will impact your app."
Under Fix it says "GET {url-id}/comments25.3K"
So - I would like to understand:
1. What is the method to get all Facebook comments moved into wpDiscuz?
2. Is there something that I have to do with the API in Facebook as per the message they sent regarding the Graph API being upgraded?
3. Also, I noticed two problems when playing with the Demo: When connecting to Facebook there is an error stating that the popup window is too small. Then after manually enlarging it and successfully connecting, wpDiscuz directs the user back to the home page rather than the page where they intend to comment. Are these two things fixable once I begin using wpDiscuz?
Thank you!

 Hi heidi777,

1. You don't need to import comments to wpDiscuz. It's enough to import comments to WordPress ( check this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/fb-comments-importer/ ), wpDiscuz will automatically get WordPress comments. wpDiscuz is a native comment system extension.

2. I'm sorry but I don't follow you.  Please explain more in detail what you mean.

3. This is Super Socializer plugin and this redirection has no relation with wpDiscuz.

Thank you SO much for your answers Astghik. I really appreciate it. I just want to clarify:
So you're saying that before starting to use wpDiscuz I import all FB comments into WP. Then from the moment I begin using wpDiscuz onwards all the comments, including the comments by people logged in through Facebook, will be stored  - where? On the server where my Wordpress is being hosted? So then I never actually have to ever worry about what is going on in my Facebook Developer App I had to create initially to use Facebook Comments because it won't be involved anymore with the whole commenting thing?
My question 2 was a concern about using Facebook for Facebook comments but it appears that my own Ap in Facebook required for me to use Facebook Comments plugin won't have any involvement with wpDiscuz commenting system right?
Actually I did use the demo for wpDiscuz located  http://wpdiscuz.com/demo/ and I left a comment there about the issue which you can see if you load more comments  - "Using FB to comment I encountered a couple bugs, namely, the popup errors out as it’s not big enough, upon enlarging manually it can be used, however after successfully connecting to FB user is redirected to the home page of wpdiscuz… and then it’s not clear how to return to the page that you wanted to comment on, I found that using the back button worked but that is not ideal. Probably most people don’t want to use FB for commenting because of wanting more privacy but still these issues are annoying."
I tried again just now and it does still redirect to the wpDiscuz home page after using FB to log in rather than bringing you back to where you're commenting at. So, I'm really hoping that doesn't happen for every site wpDiscuz is installed? It's really the only negative I've seen.

wpDiscuz doesn't get comments from Facebook server. If comments are made in Facebook they will stay in Facebook. wpDiscuz is based on WordPress database. If you can import FB comments from Facebook server to WordPress database wpDiscuz will use them and display them on website. Only imported FB comments can be displayed in wpDiscuz. If you get new comments in Facebook they will not be available in wpDiscuz. You should import them to WordPress again. If you have a solution or some plugin which keep importing FB comments to WordPress then the wpDiscuz will always display the imported comments. wpDiscuz only use WordPress comment database.

I tried again just now and it does still redirect to the wpDiscuz home page after using FB to log in rather than bringing you back to where you're commenting at.

This is the Social Login Plugin configuration issue, this doesn't have any relation to wpDiscuz. The social login buttons you see on comment form are not wpDiscuz buttons, they are displayed by other 3rd party Social Login plugin.

OK, I understand - I need to import the comments first prior to using wpDiscuz, and Super Socializer has a bug of some kind with FB login. Thank you for clarifying!
