Hi,

Firstly, great plugin - I can see this being my new go-to plugin for comments. I really appreciate the time it must take to develop it, and will certainly be investing in a few of your addons.

However, first I have an issue. After installing Wpdiscuz on a new installation (not yet live), it changes the layout of the posts. The post content is pushed to the very top of the page, and the header to the centre... See screenshots below (I've taken out identifiable information because I'm a little paranoid like that).

Without Wpdiscuz installed -  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6NI4VgAd3I8MVBkOHFiY2JSanM/view?usp=sharing

With Wpdiscuz installed - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6NI4VgAd3I8SDlwZG5tcWpjaVk

I am using the Genesis Framework, with a theme from the creators of Genesis, StudioPress (the theme is called News Pro).

Any ideas what has happened, or how I can fix it?

Thanks!

Rich

Hi Rich,

Thanks for kind words. It seems you have theme specific issue. Also, in the new installation, do you have another plugin as well?

Ah, I thought it might be related to the theme...

In that case, do you know how I can place the comments within the post layout manually? Obviously I'd have to remove the comments from the theme first, but is there something akin to a shortcode that I can use to insert Wpdiscuz into the layout manually?

I am using other plugins, but in testing and trying to resolve this issue I have turned them all off and the issue is still occuring.

One plugin that I am using that will help me insert the comments manually (as mentioned above) is the WP Toolset suite, which includes a plugin called Layouts - using it I should be able to insert shortcodes, widgets and the like into the post layout.

Thanks for your help!

Rich

Dear Rich,

As far as we see, you have a test site. So, in order to check the issue and give a solution, could you please send us your test site admin access? If you can, please send it to support[at]gvectors.com and do not forget to mention this current topic URL and your name.
