Hi Guys.
Thanks for this great plugin, it saved me a lot of time.
I'm having a little trouble here so would appreciate your help:
I want to edit the styles of the comments template(form and list items).
So I followed the instructions in that thread, by copying the wpdiscuz.css file from the plugin directory into my theme directory in a folder named 'wpDiscuz', but editing the CSS in the file doesn't work.
Even though editing the WpdiscuzWalker.php file is working, and the changes are shown when I refresh the page.
Also, my WordPress website is in Arabic, so I have tried copying the wpdiscuz-rtl.css and editing it, but to no avail.
Hi @nesty-dev,
- please make sure you've written the correct folder name should wpdiscuz,
- delete all caches before checking.
Also, my WordPress website is in Arabic, so I have tried copying the wpdiscuz-rtl.css and editing it, but to no avail.
Please use wpdiscuz.css instead of wpdiscuz-rtl.css file.
Hi Astghik, thanks for your response.
I'm using the correct folder structure, and I'm using wpdiscuz.css, yet it's not working.
I wanna pinpoint that I have both the WpdiscuzWalker.php and wpdiscuz.css files in the wpdiscuz folder inside my theme, editing the .php file works, but not the .css file, so maybe I should have only one of them inside the wpdiscuz folder?
We couldn't find such an issue on our test websites. We'll need admin accesses to find the issue. Please send admin login details to support[at]gvectors.com email address to allow us to debug it.
Hi Astghik, thanks for your response.
By admin details you mean my WordPress account? If so then I'm sorry I can't right now since my website is running on a local server for learning purposes.
Currently, I will stick with editing the CSS from the format section in wpDiscuz options, If anything new happens I will update here.
Thanks.
Nesty Dev,
I'm sorry but we can't help you with WordPress account admin access, as we don't find this issue on our test websites.
