Hi,

I add comments as admin from backend and change name to correct user, which is not a member of the site. It shows great with default wordpress comment system an  with wpDiscuz it shows correct commenter name if user who watch it is not logged in. But when logged in, the commenter shows at admin instead of the name I have selected in the backend. Is this intended?

I just found out that when user is not logged in, wpDiscuz uses the name. But when user is logged in, wpDiscuz uses the email address to find the user.  Is that intended, and why?

Hi troll,

Make sure you've changed caches before checking as guest. You should also change Comment Author email with username. Also I'd recommend play with "Use guest email to detect registered account" option, it's located in wpDiscuz General Settings Tab.
