Is it somehow possible to see the active users and or the new users?

Hi @rjk,
The wpDiscuz doesn't have such a feature.
However, we may suggest you check out the wpDiscuz Widget add-on. The addon has a "MOST ACTIVE COMMENTERS" tab, where is display the active commenters(users). More info here: https://gvectors.com/product/wpdiscuz-widgets/

I'm sorry but there is no way to see the new users.
